Important Things to Remember

Art show at Enloe Cancer Center Featuring our very own Julee Spohn. This art show will be open to the public for the next 3 months. Julee has some beautiful pieces of work on display and for sale at the Enloe Cancer Center in Chico, Ca. You will also view Sadie Card's artwork on display at the center. Please go see this awesome show. Some of our members made it out there on opening night, April 21, 2011 and had a wonderful time viewing art, talking with others and had some lovely refreshments and got to be a part of the day listening to the artists

stories of how and why they are doing what they do with their art work. View pictures attached.

General Meeting May 18, 2011

Well I have to be honest and tell you that I missed this meeting due to illness. But by the looks of the sign in sheet our attendance is getting stronger every month.

We have a couple of new things going on for our general meetings that just might make them even more interesting. The first thing is Michelle DeLaney is our Sargent at Arms and will be the one to keep order at our meetings if the crowd noise level is so loud our President Freda Flint cannot be heard over the din. Please respectfully listen to Michelle DeLaney if she approaches you and asks you to be quiet. Thank you very much in advance.

Second, is Machelle Conn will be researching and bringing us more programs at our meeting, ie, guest speakers, etc. So, don't miss a meeting, you never know what is going to happen.

Art Tour OAAT 2011

Thank you to all of the participants in our first ever OAAT. I do believe it was a success. We sold approximately 40 maps and had approximately 50 spectators. I know I had a great time doing this, if you miss out on a chance this year, join us next year at our 2nd annual OAAT.

Special thanks

I want to send out a special thank you to Machelle Conn from all of us for putting the OAAT together and working so hard at making it a successful event. We all appreciate what you do Machelle.

Sincerely,

The Board of Directors.
