in downtown Oroville during the First Friday A.R.T. Walk on October 3rd.

 Members of the Oroville Downtown Business Association hosted the artists during the semi-annual event.

During an Earth Day gathering

at the Centennial Cultural Center

on April 22nd,

Oroville Mayor Steve Jernigan presented valued A.R.T. member

Rex Burress

with this proclamation.

The get-together was attended by A.R.T. members and by many in the Oroville community at-large.

In keeping with the Earth Day theme, Rex presented a slide show titled "Earth's animals," featuring photographs he had taken and paintings he had completed over the years. 

Checkers Italian Restaurant catered the event.
