Call for Entries October brings us the 3rd Annual Juried show. 2011 theme is “Clues & Evidence”
Think of CSI or Perry Mason, where clues and evidence are found in all sorts of places.
A might be a footprint in the sand, a wine glass, a secretive look, a strand of hair that leads to discovery of the crime. So, a still life, portrait, landscape, all are perfectly fine to enter, just add a touch of mystery to the work or title.

Sharon Hicks and Jill Farris display the bench they recently completed. The Bench was designed and crafted for the City of Oroville from one of three that were removed from the holding cells of the old Justice Court. A.R.T. was able to save the benches from the scrap pile, This and one other bench have been made into public art items for the City. The "Dragon" bench pictured above is currently at Artists of River Town Gallery and Gifts, 1435 Myers St. It has been proposed that the bench be move to the the Chinese Temple, 1500 Broderick St. The other completed bench can be seen in the lobby of Centennial Cultural Center, 1931 Arlin Rhine Dr. The third bench will most likely be incoporated into a sculpture for the City.
